Journalists and experts used to be trusted because they worked at a big place. Now, many are taking their reputation, talent, and communities and building their own thing outside the big institution — a Substack, a podcast, a conference, a dinner series, a newsletter, or even an invite-only Slack community.

But brands still need trusted people to help tell their stories, and trusted people need ways to make their work sustainable.

I help them find each other and build something useful together.

After more than 15 years in the traditional agency model, working with brands like the ones scrolling by below, I’m building a communications protocol for the new media world: less chasing random press hits, more connecting the right brands with the right trusted voices so both sides grow.
